"Jade Lodge in Rawlins, WY - What an absolute dump. The carpet was ripped, stained, dirty, missing pieces and you don't want to know what had been under the bed. The walls were 1950's government green, which may have been the last time they had a coat of paint. The holes in the walls were patched, but had never been sanded or painted. The sheets were ripped and the pillows matched the stench of the entire room - a dirty ash tray. Single pane windows in this remote, Wyoming town gives you an idea of the age of the place and that no one has put a dime into upkeep or upgrades. If there hadn't been 15 inches of snow, 30 mph winds, a temperature of -2 degrees without the wind, and the closed interstate the only way to get in or out of Rawlins, we would NEVER had stayed. The saving factors were that the bathroom was fairly clean and the heater worked. "
