Guesthouse Sunna

.Borsgata 26
.Reykjavik, 101 Iceland

Received from a 43 year old male traveler from Northern California on Sunday, July 25, 2010:
"Guesthouse Sunna, Reykjavik, Iceland - I spent four nights in June 2010 in a private room with shared bath at Guesthouse Sunna. I paid 11,600 Iceland Kronor -- about $90 at the time - - per night including breakfast. If I go back to Reykjavik, I will most certainly stay here. It's in a residential neighborhood abutting the oft-photographed Hallgrimskirkja church. Ikea-fabulous, poshly sited, and Icelandicly grimeless, the guesthouse is an easy airport shuttles stop in and of itself. Great breakfasts -- the owner (on site always, it seems) even prepared an uber-early seating for me on the morning of my 6 AM departure. Very timely, courteous email replies to my pre-arrival questions. Good English spoken, as with all of Reykjavik. Shared bathrooms plentiful enough such that I never had competition for their use. The location near the relative high rise that is the adjacent church steeple makes home easy to find on walks home. Great accommodations, highly recommended, and a fine advertisement for Iceland itself. "
